If you have a large family living in a small home, it is time to discover the magical space-saving properties of metal bunk beds! Metal beds are also an ideal choice for your teenager who is going off to the annals of a small college dorm room, and there are also bunk styles that are perfect for adults who are living in a small apartment (they feature one bed on top and the bottom is a desk area and storage area). These types of beds are ingenious, really!
For children, you will find a vast variety of metal bunk beds, some of them in whimsical styles that feature a slide that comes down from the top bunk, or a tent for the bottom bunk. There are also traditionally styled beds. Some children's beds will feature an attached desk or options beneath the bottom bunk for storing clothing and toys. To get to the top bunk, there are metal beds with steps or a ladder. And because they are metal, you will find nearly any color that you are interested in for your child's décor theme - from red to pink to blue and every color in between.

Why Choose Kids Bunk Beds
Kids bunk beds have become a common sight in modern day homes. With space being always an issue in today's households, if there is more than one kid in the house, then it becomes all the more difficult to accommodate them in separate rooms. Kids bunk beds act as great space savers and are also quite popular with kids of all ages. The very idea of being able to sleep together with one bed above the other, which has to be accessed by a ladder seems exciting to kids. Sleeping on a bunk bed seems like a fun activity.
The typical features of bunk beds are two beds that stack on top of each other, two guard rails on the sides of the top bunk and a ladder to allow the child staying in the top bunk to climb safely up and down. There is also the twin over full bunk beds which can cater three persons at the same time. They consist of a full at the bottom with a twin bed at the top. Such a type of bed is also useful when you have guests coming in. If they have kids with them then they can use this bed allowing the child to sleep with his or her parents at the same time without feeling insecure in a new environment.
